Shift: Days. Demonstrates and serves as an expert in the role of practitioner, consultant, educator, and health professional. Improves clinical and cost outcomes for key patient populations through collaboration with physicians and staff and by participating in strategic initiatives. Assures competent and ethical care of patients and families. Share with the supervising physicians and clinic staff the responsibilities of providing and maintaining a quality, customer-focused, nursing and medically appropriate approach to patient assessment, care plan development and implementation, follow-up to outcomes, and cost-effective delivery of services. Community involvement and collaboration is encouraged.
Master of Science Degree in Nursing
Completion of Nurse Practitioner program in Family Medicine
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a nationally accrediting body
Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Ohio
Current Certificate of Authority to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Ohio
Current Certificate to Prescribe
Minimum one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner.
Prefer one (1) year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a Family Medicine, Clinic setting.
BLS certification required
